Marvin Liebe is an investment advisor representative of The Advisor Benefits Group, Inc., a registered independent investment adviser, serving customers in Kennewick, WA and surrounding communities. Marvin Liebe’s mission is to provide local families and businesses with innovative financial strategies, solutions and planning that can lead to financial clarity and security.

A native of the Columbia Basin, Marv began his career in financial services (way back in the 1980’s!) as an agent and manager for the Prudential Insurance Company here in Kennewick. During this period, he developed a deep passion for helping his clients make smart decisions about their money. Inspired, he embarked on a decades long education objective, obtaining a Master of Science degree and numerous industry credentials, including Certified Financial Planner™ Professional. Operating as owner and manager of The Advisor Benefits Group, Inc. since 1994, Marv specializes in two specific areas, comprehensive financial planning and employee benefits consultation and implementation. He married his Texas sweetheart, Barbara, in 1977 and moved to Kennewick, WA, shortly after. Their 3 kids, Kevin, Teri and Sara have blessed them with 4, soon to be 5 grandkids.


Kim is the newest member of the Advisor Benefits Group team and a newcomer to the Northwest. Originally from Southern California, Kim attended high school in Arlington, Texas then later migrated back west where she attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. In 1996 Kim accepted a position with a Fee-Only Investment Advisory firm near downtown Salt Lake City working as an administrative assistant to money managers and as a client services representative. Kim earned her Certified Financial Planner™ Professional credentials in 2007 and performed the duties of Senior Wealth Advisor for Albion Financial Group. In her 15+ year career in the financial advising industry, Kim has had the privilege of working with a broad range of clients, many of them multigenerational. As an advisor and fiduciary Kim views herself as a facilitator helping individuals and families to navigate complex financial issues. Kim and her husband, Dan, have four adult children and eleven grandchildren with one great grandchild on the way! They share a passion for raising horses and spending time with family and friends on their little horse farm which is a favorite playground for their grandchildren!

Donna Waits, General Manager

Donna recently celebrated her 10 year anniversary with Advisor Benefits. A jack-of-all-trades, Donna is the glue that holds our office together but she specializes in working with our small business owners to provide them the very best options when it comes to medical and other employee benefit programs. Donna is married to Kirk and is the mother of two children. She enjoys family and living in the country as well as camping and fishing in her spare time.

Phil Lynch, Life and Health Insurance Specialist

Phil, a life care benefits agent, specializes in serving businesses and individuals with products that provide personal health care plans, business health care plans, disability, life insurance, long-term care and safe tax-deferred products for retirement. This also includes an emphasis on seniors and Medicare supplemental programs to assist seniors in healthy living. A part of Advisor Benefits for many years, he enjoys being able to fit the product to the specific situation. In a climate of rapid changes , Phil stays informed and identifies the priorities of his clients, and works diligently on their behalf to bring them the best solutions. Phil serves our community through his 20 year involvement in the Tri-Cities Area Chamber of Commerce and as a volunteer, along with his wife Janice, as a Pastor for the Divine Fellowship church in Richland.

Kevin Husted, Life and Health Insurance Specialist

Kevin, a licensed insurance professional since 1997 and key member of Advisor Benefits for nine years, started out in this business simply wanting to help people protect what was important to them. Influenced by his dad who spent 35 years in the business, Kevin carries on that tradition by focusing his work with individuals, specializing in Medicare plans as well as health, life & long-term care insurance and annuities. A native of Eastern Washington and a Tri-City resident since 1990, Kevin has been deeply involved in the community, including Leadership Tri-Cities Class II, Past President of the Kennewick Jaycees, and Past State Vice President of Community Relations with the Washington State Jaycees. Kevin is also Past President of the Board of Directors for Senior Life Resources and has served on that board for the last 11 years. Kevin, the father of 2 and grandfather of 5, loves to travel and spend time with his family.

Valerie Griffith, Insurance Account Manager

Valerie has been working in the insurance field for more than 24 years. She began working with Premera Blue Cross in the claims department and also worked in the edit and audit department. Then she went from claims to customer service.  In 2001, she moved from the carrier side of insurance to working in an agency. In her free time, she enjoys reading and taking pictures with her husband and going for long drives to see the many amazing sites our beautiful state has to offer. She also enjoys her time with her family, especially her 8 grandchildren.

Darlene Williams, Insurance Account Manager

Joining Advisor Benefits in 2014, Darlene brings her strong and extensive experience in human resources and office management skills to the team. Although she is a newcomer to the financial services industry, she is a very quick study as she demonstrated immediately by passing the Washington State insurance exam on her first attempt. Her professional and friendly attitude along with her general business knowledge has enabled her to quickly become an indispensable part of our group. Darlene is married and has 3 kids.  She is also known, famously, for her amazing baked desserts. Her cakes are just as beautiful as they are delicious.

Kelly Frankenfield, Insurance Account Manager

Kelly joined our team in 2016. As a veteran of the US Army, Kelly’s strong work ethic and management skills prepared her well for the client service role she performs for us. And, her degree in social science from Washington State University gives her insight and empathy for our clients and participants, and our service vendor representatives. Her recent experience helping patients as a Referral Coordinator in a local doctor’s office also provides a unique perspective for dealing with insurances providers. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs and cat and watching as many superhero movies as she can.
